A Norwegian supply ship carrying gold mysteriously sinks. A Russian crew claims the Nazis are responsible. Royal Navy Lieutenant James Bond suspects foul play.

Moustafa is a diehard 007 fan, having both written and drawn last year's James Bond: Solstice one-shot. Now he’s going way back in time to Bond’s early years in World War II with fan-favorite writer Jeff Parker.

"Jeff and I have been friends for years and I'm thrilled that we're finally working together,” said Moustafa. “James Bond is my favorite literary character, and to have a hand in the official Fleming canon of Bond's rise through the military ranks toward his destination of Double-0 status is nothing short of a dream come true. Our love for the material and the sharp stewardship of the folks at Ian Fleming Publications Ltd. will ensure that Bond fans and casual readers alike will have a blast with these stories!”

Welcoming his new collaborator and acknowledging the stellar contributions of previous artist Bob Q is writer Jeff Parker, “I’m extremely excited for Ibrahim to parachute down on board The HMS Origin. It is no mean feat to follow Bob Q, who started this series off as well as it possibly could be done, he set the art bar very high. But Ibrahim is crushing it, as you’ll soon see! I’m so lucky to collaborate with these guys, just top-level storytellers. Bond is in good hands.”

“Ibrahim is probably the foremost authority on all things James Bond…he also happens to be one of the greatest artists working today,” said editor Nate Cosby. “He fundamentally gets what makes James tick. Having him collaborate with Jeff Parker on the early years of the world’s most famous spy is the no-brainer of all no-brainers."

Check out these stunning preview pages and sketches from Moustafa.

The fall of Krakoa will go down as one of the darkest chapters in mutant history, but Cyclops refuses to allow the X-Men to be victims. The first X-Man, mutantkind’s ultimate leader, and arguably the most brilliant strategic mind in the entire Marvel Universe, Scott Summers steps up to guide his species towards a better future in Jed MacKay and Ryan Stegman’s X-MEN. Announced last month, X-MEN will be the first of three flagship X-titles set in the upcoming From the Ashes era. No longer living under the protection of Krakoa, it’s a dangerous time for mutants everywhere, and dangerous times call for radical action! Cyclops gathers a group of his most trusted and reliable mutant soldiers along with the brightest of the next generation to tackle the most prevalent threats to mutantkind, including an existential new enemy that rises out of the remains of ORCHIS. Prepare for a reckoning as this team handles explosive mutant-specific issues without restraint. Humanity can hate them all they want, as long as they fear them! FROM THE ASHES! Krakoa is gone, ORCHIS has fallen...but the X-Men remain, always. Cyclops leads, because that is what he does. Beast builds, because that is what he does. And from their new home in Alaska, the X-Men raise a flag of defiance. Mutant business is their business. Join Cyclops, Beast, Magneto, Psylocke, Magik, Kid Omega, Temper, and Juggernaut as new forces in the world move into position, battling for the destiny and philosophy of the mutant species. "Taking on the X-Men is always a daunting prospect, but I'm extremely psyched to take this team of mutants back into the world with Ryan!" MacKay said. "When I first got into comics, drawing X-Men was THE job you wanted as an artist,” Stegman added. “To have the opportunity now is mind-blowing." With three flagship titles and a host of additional satellite series, the upcoming From the Ashes era will present fans with a wide range of different approaches to the X-Men’s mission statement. Gail Simone and David Marquez’ Uncanny X-Men delivers globetrotting super hero adventures as the X-Men show the world all the good mutantkind can accomplish. Eve L. Ewing and Carmen Carnero’s Exceptional X-Men focuses on the trials and training young mutants need to undergo to survive in a world against them. Meanwhile, MacKay and Stegman’s X-MEN sees mutantkind flex their strength and keep hope alive by any means necessary! After the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES (TMNT) made their debut in a black-and-white comic by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird in 1984, the Heroes in a Half Shell went on to become a global phenomenon. Over the next forty years, countless talented people across the entertainment industry worked passionately with the beloved franchise, allowing adventures with new iterations of TMNT to consistently reach new audiences. Now, brilliant TMNT creatives from different eras are joining forces to present something truly special to fans: the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: 40TH ANNIVERSARY COMICS CELEBRATION.

With several new stories and pinup art pieces inspired by different eras of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this technodrome-sized issue with more than 70 pages will feature fan-favorite creatives returning to their respective eras for all-new tales. This special one-shot issue will feature new stories and pinup art from Jim Lawson, Ciro Nieli, Tristan Jones, Paul Harmon, Steve Lavigne, Andy Suriano, Ronda Pattison, Pablo Tunica, Freddie E. Williams II, Sophie Campbell, Tom Waltz, Lloyd Goldfine, Khary Randolph, Emilio Lopez, Dan Duncan, Erik Burnham, Sarah Myer, Luis Antonio Delgado, Chris Allan and more. Plus, the one and only Kevin Eastman will be contributing a story, too!

No TMNT anniversary celebration would be complete without the two people who created it all. This oversized issue will feature a primary cover with never-before-seen pencils from Laird that have been inked by Eastman, just for this special issue! Additional eye-catching covers will be provided by acclaimed artists Sophie Campbell, Isaac and Esau Escorza, Simon Bisley, Michael Dialynas, Vincenzo Federici, Khary Randolph, Emilio Lopez, Michael Cho, Dave Wachter, and an IDW Exclusive cover by Ben Bishop.

"Having a childhood dream – in my case to write and draw comics for a living, is one thing – to then actually spending every minute of the next 40 years doing it, is a whole other matter altogether – humbling is the first word that comes to mind,” stated Eastman. “My co-creation of TMNT with the amazing Peter Laird has been the driving force of living that dream, and working with a number of really talented writers and artists along the way has made, and still makes, the journey the greatest shared experience I never imaged and could not be more grateful for.” The iconic comic book creator added, “From the raw beginnings of a 40-page self-published black and white ‘origin of’ comic, to the 200-page full color ‘final tale’ of the original TMNT's graphic novel, THE LAST RONIN, I want to thank the people directly responsible – our fans. Without them, I would not have had the chance to live that childhood dream."

What's amazing about the TMNT comics is just looking back over the breadth of the stories, how many creators have tapped in, and all the energy and excitement that has gone into the last four decades,” added Editor-in-Chief Jamie S. Rich. “It proves how great the original concept by Eastman & Laird was that it endures across media, across time, and the characters consistently find a new audience. This book tries to tap into as much of that as possible and bring back fan favorite creators to celebrate their contributions to the lore."

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: 40TH ANNIVERSARY COMICS CELEBRATION will leap into comic shops on July 10, 2024 for $11.99. Fans have until June 3 to pre-order at their local comic shop.

The bestselling, contemporary classic comic book series Fatale—by multiple Eisner Award winning duo Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips (Criminal, Night Fever, Reckless, Where the Body Was) with colorists Elizabeth Breitweiser (Outcast by Robert Kirkman and Paul Azaceta, The Fade Out) and Eisner Award winning Dave Stewart (The Bone Orchard Mythos: Tenement, Universal Monsters: Creature From The Black Lagoon Lives!)—will be collected in its entirety in the upcoming Fatale Compendium. This complete collected paperback will include all 24 issues of the Lovecraftian-infused mystery noir story and be available in July from Image Comics.

The Fatale series first launched from Image in 2012 to instant critical acclaim and was rushed back to print several times in order to keep up with demand and was nominated for numerous Eisner Awards that year. It remains one of the most popular, consistently reordered titles in the Brubaker and Phillips oeuvre.

"Fatale was our first book at Image, and I always wished we had it in a single volume edition, because it really is meant to be read as one big epic story," said Brubaker. "The puzzle pieces of this horror-noir tale are designed to resonate off each other and make earlier scenes have more impact, so this book is actually my ideal way for our readers to discover Fatale again."

Fatale darkly blends American crime noir with unnamed Lovecraftian horrors. Readers jump from 1950s San Francisco—where crooked cops hide deeper evils—to mid-'70s Los Angeles—where burnt-out actors and ex-cult groupies are caught in a web around a Satanic snuff film—then back through the ages of time. At the center of it all is the mysterious Josephine—a curse woman with a hypnotic, supernatural power to die or kill for.

Brubaker and Phillips’ names have been stealing headlines left and right lately with The Hollywood Reporter’s buzzy scoop that Amazon has given a full series order to another of their backlist darlings, Criminal, with Brubaker co-showrunning and writing the pilot. The pair also has an upcoming graphic novel, Houses of the Unholy, set to his shelves this August.

Fatale Compendium paperback (ISBN: 9781534327658) will be available at local comic book shops on Wednesday, July 17 and independent bookstores, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, and Indigo on Tuesday, July 30.

Fatale remains available across many digital platforms, including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play.

Dynamite is excited to announce Dynamite Originals, a brand new imprint debuting first on Kickstarter with a heavy-hitting roster of creators taking on the company's flagship character — Vampirella! This new label will feature unique visions and innovative collaborations with the biggest creators in comics of today and tomorrow. It all starts on Tuesday April 16, with Vampirella: Black, White & Blood!

This prestige anthology project is a close collaboration with Arancia Studio, known for its juggernaut leader Mirka Andolfo (Sweet Paprika, Mercy, Harley Quinn). Some of the most exciting rising stars of the Italian studio join today's biggest names in American comics on this star-studded special release. The whole book sports a stunning black-and-white palette, with splashes of red to really show off the artwork in these three tantalizing tales. It's the ultimate spotlight on the character and an international team-up of the comics craft.

"I couldn't be more thrilled about this book," said creator Mirka Andolfo. "Vampirella is such an iconic character…I had the pleasure of drawing her before, but this is my first time writing her. And I really hope it's not my last, because I had a lot of fun, also because I was surrounded by phenomenal creators! You're going to see some great things...”

Andolfo's creative and business partner Davide G.G. Caci added, “When, with our friends at Dynamite, we started talking about a Black, White & Blood special for Vampirella, we knew right away that we were on the same page. It was amazing to see how everyone — their team, our team, our editor Davide Morando, and of course, all the creators — were on the same page. At Arancia, we love to create creative bridges, and this special issue is something to be proud of: extraordinary American and European artists and writers teaming up to tell some stories starring a unique character.”

Andolfo leads the way with a fascinating fable with a meta twist. In "Redefining Shadows," she and artist Greta Xella depict the most unlikely team-up for the Daughter of Drakulon. She finds in her path a group of talented female artists, writers, and creatives, setting out to redefine their approach to fiction and challenging the dominant male narratives and gaze in the comics industry. This story not only reimagines Vampirella's story, which originally broke boundaries, but emphasizes the importance of diverse voices in storytelling.

In "Undercover" by Tim Seeley (Nightwing, Hack/Slash) and Zulema Scotto Lavina the Drakulonian antiheroine is accused of a series of violent murders. To clear her name, she goes undercover, embedding herself in a gang of vicious vampire hunters. In her quest to track down the mystery killer and protect her own kind, she may discover the culprit could be someone close to her heart.

Last but certainly not least, "The Ballad of Blind Love" features the work of Steve Orlando (Wonder Woman, Midnighter) and Alessandro Amoruso, and depicts a love story like no other. A powerful mob boss is desperately in love with Vampirella and will do anything to win her over. Misinterpreting her character and reactions, he starts bringing increasingly heinous sacrifices to garner her affection. It will take a dark turn when she demands of him the ultimate sacrifice...

Not to be outdone by the stories within, this project demanded a set of jaw-dropping covers by top names to deliver a perfect package to fans. Mirka Andolfo of course contributes one of course for the title she and her team are driving artistically. She's joined by superstars Stjepan Šejic, Jae Lee, and Joseph Michael Linsner. Each of these covers will be available as standard covers, chrome editions, and metal editions, plus fans will have the option to get them signed or CGC graded. And there will be options to get all four covers bundled together for a special collector’s price.

Everyone who signs up for updates on the campaign ahead of time will receive a free digital download of 2019's smash-hit Vampirella #1 that kicked off the character's latest major era under writer Christopher Priest.

Dynamite and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products announce an exciting spotlight issue and jumping-on point for ThunderCats fans. Writer Declan Shalvey is teaming up with artist Stephen Mooney as ThunderCats #5 turns its attention to Cheetara, for a pivotal moment in the ongoing saga.

The beloved crew of ThunderCats are led by Lion-O, destined for that role. Though he has the body of an adult, his unexpected accelerated growth has resulted in his physical strength and abilities outpacing his grasp on everything inside his head. His skills, strategies, and emotions are a continuing challenge to hone, with the goal to achieve the kind of maturity required by all great leaders.

Luckily, Lion-O is surrounded by a few seasoned veterans to help him refine his mind and body. In the epic aftermath of the Third-Earth-shattering events of the first story arc - no spoilers! - this special standalone issue serves as both a perfect highlight and chance to jump right in for new readers enticed by the glowing reviews and word of mouth on the title. "Training Day" features Cheetara putting Lion-O through the ringer, with some painful combat lessons as he learns to master his temper.

ThunderCats #5 and the focus on Cheetara not only bridges the first two big arcs of the epic, smash-hit title, but it may also be setting up even more exciting developments for the comic book series...

Superstar Stephen Mooney (The Rocketeer: The Great Race, Half Past Danger) steps in to collaborate with friend and fellow virtuoso writer/artist Declan Shalvey for this can't-miss chapter. Mooney additionally contributes a cover to the issue, showing off his artistic approach to Cheetara. He's joined with other covers by Shalvey, David Nakayama, Lucio Parrillo, Jae Lee, Ivan Tao, and an action figure variant.

"It was a thrill and a challenge to be asked to come aboard a title that's forging such a ferocious path right now," said artist Stephen Mooney. "When the Cheetara-centric story was mentioned to me, I jumped at the chance, as she was always my favourite 'Cat and I could already see several compelling ways to take her. Working with Declan is always a bonus, as we know each other so well outside of work and had plenty of opportunity to bounce ideas off one-another. He and Drew Moss have established such a compelling narrative in this book, that it was an absolute pleasure to come in and add to it."

This issue also gives regular ongoing artist Drew Moss some extra runway to execute the next major story arc at the highest level, with the same masterful artwork that kicked off the series and made him a star previously on Gargoyles.

Dynamite is additionally offering limited edition foil and line art variants of ThunderCats #1 featuring the original sold-out covers by Shalvey, Tao, and Jae Lee. These are being offered to retailers and collectors alongside #5 in the April for June Previews catalog.

It’s a milestone year for both Donald Duck and Wolverine, and this July, see their sagas boldy come together in MARVEL & DISNEY: WHAT IF…? DONALD DUCK BECAME WOLVERINE #1! Announced this week at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair in Italy, this first-of-its-kind one-shot will celebrate everything the world loves about both these pop culture legends from their heart and humor to their epic rage! Crafted by two acclaimed Disney comic creators, writer Luca Barbieri and artist Giada Perissinotto, MARVEL & DISNEY: WHAT IF…? DONALD BECAME WOLVERINE #1 is the latest comic book collaboration between Marvel and Disney following the What If…? Disney Variant Covers of the last few years and the highly anticipated Uncle Scrooge and the Infinity Dime #1 one-shot comic out this June. Fans can look forward to even more exciting crossovers between Marvel heroes and Disney icons throughout this year and next! The comic will introduce Donald-Wolverine along with all sorts of reimagined Disney and Marvel mashups in a wild adventure inspired by one of Wolverine’s most memorable story arcs, Old Man Logan. In addition, the saga will revisit some of the greatest moments in Donald-Wolverine’s history including his time spent with Weapon X and the Uncanny X-Men! Travel to the near future where chaos rules as Pete-Skull transforms Duckburg into a super-hero-less wasteland. Only Old Donald Duck can turn the tide, but he's given up his battling days and prefers naps and his grandma’s apple pie over fighting villains. But when Mickey-Hawkeye comes knocking at the door with Goofy-Hulk at his side, Wolverine-Donald has to make a choice! Will a trip down memory lane change his mind to save the world? Or will the lure of the backyard hammock and a long nap keep him from popping his claws one last time? On merging these two icons, Barbieri said, “Donald Duck and Wolverine are two characters that seem almost impossible to make coexist, but in fact they possess very similar personality: they are both hot-tempered and unlucky, but in adversity they do not lose heart and always show that they have a big heart! Once this point was focused, writing the story turned out to be easy and fun!” "I always thought Wolverine's sideburns only looked good on Uncle Scrooge, but when I drew them on Donald Duck I realized they fit him perfectly too!” Perissinotto added. “Those pointy head tufts and thick sideburns go well with his shaggy being. I had so much fun adapting Wolverine's hair to Donald Duck that I would do him like this all the time now!"
