Troy Brownfield began working in comics on the journalism side, founding ShotgunReviews.com and notably contributing to Newsarama (for 7 years), Wired, The Pulse, Newtype USA magazine and more. He was Associate Editor for Fangoria Comics and The Scream Factory. In addition to creating the webcomics Sparkshooter and Solo Acoustic, Troy has written for DC Comics and Zenescope, including Grimm Fairy Tales and GFT vs. Wonderland. Troy’s first Dynamite work came in 2011 when he co-wrote the Buck Rogers Annual with Matt Brady. He is currently the writer of The Blood Queen series and the new Dynamite novel Prince Dracula.
