WITCHBLADE: SHADES OF GRAY #3 FROM DYNAMITE/TOP COW
The "Dynamite" origin of Dorian Gray Revealed in Witchblade: Shades of Gray #3 this April

February 15, 2007, Runnemede, NJ - Dynamite Entertainment today released images and information concerning the third issue of WITCHBLADE: SHADES OF GRAY, their first crossover events with Top Cow in 2007!  Scheduled for an April release, Witchblade: Shades of Gray #3 stars Top Cow's Witchblade and continues the debut of Dynamite's Dorian Gray!

WITCHBLADE: SHADES OF GRAY is being written by Leah Moore and John Reppion and serves as the introduction for Dynamite's version of Oscar Wilde's murderous and mysterious title character from his 1890 novel The Picture of Dorian Gray. The series also continues the artistic debut of "Dynamite" Stephen Segovia and an all-star roster of cover artists, including Adriano Batista, E-Bas and Stephen Segovia!

Stated Dynamite, "This third issue of Witchblade: Shades of Gray features a big reveal that will answer the question of, ‘Who is Dorian Gray? Where did he come from? And most importantly, what haunting crimes of his past have earned him such suspect from the Witchblade?' According to Dorian Gray's own description of himself, ‘Mister Hyde, Spring-heeled Jack, and the Ripper himself, were nothing but echoes of my foul malevolence.' Throw in a curse of immortality to his comparison, and there you have a perfect anti-hero for the modern world. And… for all you gore thirsty horror fans, the actual picture of Dorian Gray makes an appearance- and it's not pretty!

"Shades of Gray writers Leah Moore and John Reppion have done a remarkable job of integrating classic literature, history and comic book fantasy to produce this phantasmagoric tale of murder and intrigue through the ages. The writers are moving Dorian and Sara in mysterious ways, as the characters search for clues of their true natures while trying to solve a crime that has bound them through the centuries."

The issue is currently available for pre-order.
